All this makes me want to do is watch Hedwig and the Angry Inch again.

I am embarrassed at how much I like Lady Gaga. Almost as much as I am for liking that Kanye West track on the NASA album.

I was. But now I’m not, because after checking out the videos on her website HausofGaga.com AND after reading her wiki articleand learning some of her history, I think her persona is a little bit satire? Maybe I’m buying too much into it, but I think it’s a little akin to how some conservatives think Colbert is on their side. Just a guess. I also like that she decided she was famous before she was famous. I also like the term “so bowie” to describe things that are awesome.

    But yeah I <3 <3 <3 her.

I FUCKING HATE that I like her so much. I slam her every chance I can get, but the fact of the matter is … i fucking love her songs.

    And it pisses me off.

But I still love her. DAMNIT!

She’s got us all by the balls. No reason to fight.

Once the library here has her album I’m going to give it an openminded listen. Openminded, I swear.

Is it the best pop album ever written? No. HOWEVER, it’s all catchy, sticky (you’ll be singing it forever), raunchy and overall really enjoyable. And some of it downright sounds like Freddy Mercury could be singing it, which always turns me on.

I hope you like it. Then I won’t feel like such a tool every time I defend her.

It should also be added that, in Columbus, I was driving around a car full of drunk soldiers and they were asking, nay, DEMANDING Poker Face. Considering that one listens to classic rock, one was a hipster(ish), one was my husband who has no taste and never LOVES anything (self-admitted), and the other guy listened to rap, that song has legs.

Amy, I can make you feel like less of a tool now.
