If you’ve enjoyed my hair chronicles over the past year

(and have I mentioned i got rid of the blonde today?)
and you live in the Ft. Polk/Sleesville area, then I recommend checking out Eye Candy and asking for Rachelle, who is not only my hairdresser but a dear friend AND SAVIOR from all the abysmal salons in this town. TEN of her clients PCS/ETSed THIS MONTH, so go, give her your business. She’s a delightful person to hang out with for an hour every two weeks. (In fact I will admit that I have gotten a haircut when I barely needed one just because I liked hanging out there.) RACHELLE I WILL MISS YOU TERRIBLY.
I know there are at least a few of you down here who read this (or several, I suspect, if you’re running into each other at parties =)), so show her some love. A cut for me is $35, I think? Great.

Wow. It happened so gradually. I forgot how long your hair was the first time you cut it short. You’re beautiful darling.
Ooh, thanks for the tip. I’ve been asking around in this town for a decent hairdresser. All I have been told is don’t go to the French Quarter. I wish my hair looked as fabulous as yours even on a good “hair day” for me!
French Quarter is a total rip. I hate that place. Although, they give a decent massage (I won a gift card there in a cookie baking contest once. Wholesome, I know!)
Not that you’re soliciting opinions, but haircut 3 rocked..5 worked..your latter day cuts look good. Not many can make short llok good You’re going to miss whomever’s been cutting your hair. It’s not easy to find someone who doesn’t just cut..but gets it complimentary.
